What is Diglot Deep Research?
Deep Research is an agentic research workflow for academic and evidence-heavy questions. It plans the query, searches scholarly databases and the open web, and returns a structured report with linked sources that you can inspect and save to your Diglot Library.
Which academic databases does it search?
The scholarly discovery layer federates OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, Crossref, PubMed, Europe PMC, ERIC, DOAJ, arXiv and OpenAIRE. Provider availability can change, and no database guarantees complete coverage of a field.
Does Deep Research replace reading the papers?
No. The report helps you discover and organize evidence, but you should open the original paper and verify every claim, method and citation before using it in submitted work.
How is Deep Research different from Ask Library?
Ask Library searches only the sources you have already saved to your Library (paid plans can also upload PDFs). Deep Research searches outside your workspace to discover new scholarly and web sources, then lets you save the useful ones back into Library.
Can I use the report in a literature review?
Use it as a research map: identify papers, competing findings, methods and open questions, then read the originals and write the synthesis yourself. Diglot keeps the sources, citations and draft connected in the same workspace.
